The Boston Celtics are gunning to close out their NBA Finals series and win their 18th NBA Championship when they host the Dallas Mavericks at the TD Garden for Game 5. 

The Boston Celtics are heading into Game 5 with a 3-1 series lead over Dallas Mavericks. They took a 3-0 lead after winning the first three games but were hammered in Game 4 as Mavericks avoided the sweep with a 122-84 win. 

The Boston Celtics got dominated in the paint in Game 4 and one of the big factors behind that was Kristaps Porzingis injury that kept him on the sidelines. So heading into Game 5, what is the latest on Kristaps Porzingis injury in the latest Boston Celtics injury report.

Boston Celtics injury report 

Kristaps Porzingis picked up an achilles injury in Game 2 of the NBA Finals and has now missed both Game 3 and Game 4. The Unicorn was available to play in Game 4 but the Boston Celtics decided not to play him in the drubbing. 

Heading into Game 5, there is no good news around Kristaps Porzingis as he is listed as questionable for the contest. 

However, to make matters worse according to Boston Celtics teammates Kristaps Porzingis has been really struggling in the workouts and in training before the contest.

Kristaps Porzingis is an elite rim protector and his absence could prove to be a big blow to the Boston Celtics. They would hope that his absence doesn't affect them too much and they are able to get the job done. 

But if they were to lose the game tonight, then the series will head back to Dallas for a Game 6.
