300 runs, 6 sixes in 6 balls: LSG batter and Yuvraj Singh's copy break all records in DPL

In a remarkable display of batting prowess, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) star Ayush Badoni, who also serves as the captain of South Delhi Superstarz, etched his name in the record books by leading his team to an unprecedented total of 308 runs in their 20 overs during a Delhi Premier League match. Badoni's stunning knock of 165 off just 55 balls, coupled with opener Priyansh Arya's explosive 120 off 50 deliveries, powered the South Delhi Superstarz to what is now one of the highest team totals ever recorded in T20 cricket.

Ayush Badoni, who has been a rising star in the Indian Premier League (IPL), took charge of the innings right from the start. His 165-run blitzkrieg included a staggering number of boundaries, 19 sixes and 8 fours, making the bowlers appear helpless against his onslaught.

However, Badoni's heroics were not a solo act. He was ably supported by opener Priyansh Arya, who played an equally significant role in piling up the mammoth total. Arya's 120 off 50 balls was a spectacle in its own right, as he laid a solid foundation with his aggressive stroke play. The left-hander even smashed six sixes in six balls at one point in the innings, emulating Yuvraj Singh's feat. 

This was also Priyansh Arya's second century in the ongoing Delhi Premier League. His partnership with Ayush Badoni was a nightmare for the opposition, with the duo combining for a record 286-run stand that set the tone for the rest of the innings.

The North Delhi Strikers' bowlers were left with no answers to the onslaught. Suyash Sharma, one of their key bowlers, bore the brunt of the punishment, conceding 66 runs in his four overs. However, the most expensive spell of the day came from Manan Bhardwaj, who was taken to the cleaners by Badoni and Arya. Manan's two-over spell yielded a whopping 60 runs, leaving him with an economy rate of 30.00, one of the highest ever in T20 cricket history.
