India defeated Australia by four wickets to secure a place in the Champions Trophy 2025 final. Riding on Virat Kohli 's mammoth 84, India are now into their third consecutive Champions Trophy final.
Batting first, Australia posted a formidable 264 runs on the board. Steve Smith and Alex Carey were the peak of the batters as they encountered the Indian bowlers with ease. India were stuttering at the start of the innings but it was Virat who made sure the run chase went smoothly on a tricky Dubai surface.
Social media has now erupted as Rohit Sharma and Co have knocked Australia out of the Champions Trophy 2025.
