Yuvraj Singh Goes ALL OUT on Abhishek Sharma After His Unfortunate Run out at T20I Match in Gwalior
The 1st T20I match between India and Bangladesh did not go well for Abhishek Sharma as the star opener lost his wicket early after a successful run-out attempt by Bangladesh bowler Towhid Hridoy in the non-strikers' end. Sharma failed to make much of an impact as he walked back after scoring 16 off seven balls, which consisted of two boundaries and a six. After the T20I match in Gwalior, Sharma shared an Instagram post and shared some moments from the match.
"Every run, every ball — it’s all for the team. Great start to the series," he captioned the post.
A fan predicted that the India upstart would soon get his big moment in the T20I series against Bangladesh , but Yuvraj spared no words as he put a robust response to the fans' comment. "Only if we apply our brains properly," Yuvraj Singh commented.
Yuvraj's comments may come as a surprise. The fans may remember that the last time Abhishek was dismissed for a duck in the T20I series against Zimbabwe, he was 'happy' after his dismissal, which fueled him up. Abhishek went on to score a ton in the next game against Zimbabwe.
Speaking of the match, Team India's momentum did not falter despite Abhishek Sharma's dismissal as Team India excelled with the bat and the ball. The pace attack, led by Arshdeep Singh, put up a solid display, while mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy made his Team India comeback after scalping three wickets in the game. The batting side also displayed resilience as Hardik Pandya hit the winning shot, and India now leads 1-0 in the T20I series.
