ICC Snubs Pakistan’s PoK Desperation, Cancels Champions Trophy Title Tour
The ICC have called off the Champions Trophy title tour at the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir a day after PCB made the announcement of a nationwide trophy tour.

As the dispute over Team India's participation for Champions Trophy 2025 continues, the Pakistan Cricket Board have organized a title tour in the nation, which would feature the ICC title won by Pakistan Cricket in 2017 at The Oval. A day after PCB made the huge announcement, the International Cricket Board have halted the board's plans of displaying the title in disputed areas.
ICC Disrupt PCB's Plans, Cancel Champions Trophy Title Tour in PoK
The International Cricket Council have called off the Champions Trophy title tour at the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The Pakistan Cricket Board had announced the Champions Trophy Title tour, in which the title won by Pakistan at England was to be put on display throughout the nation, as per reports.
However, the ICC have cancelled the tour in the city of Skardu, Hunza and Mazafarabad. All the regions fall in the disputed area of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The tour was organized in the host nation in order to enhance the hype for the tournament, which is set to take place from February-March 2025.

Team India and Pakistan Cricket haven't had any bilateral series after the 26/11 attacks happened in Mumbai at 2008. Team India had traveled to PAK for the Asia Cup that year, and it was the last time they visited there to compete in matches. Both teams participated in an ODI and T20I series in India in 2012–13, India and Pakistan have not had bilateral cricket relations after that.
The 2023 Asia Cup, which was hosted in Pakistan, had to be done under the hybrid model after Team India did not travel to Pakistan. Instead, all of India's matches, including the final, were held in Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue emerged as the Asia Cup champions in 2023.

As India's refusal to send the team for the Champions Trophy remains steadfast, is yet to be seen on what will happen next. The ICC and PCB's plan of action over the scenario is yet to be determined.
