This season will mark Canada's inaugural appearance at the ICC T20 World Cup. On May 2, Cricket Canada unveiled their fifteen-man squad for the 2024 tournament. In June, the United States and the West Indies will collaborate to host the occasion.

Canada's all-arounder Saad Bin Zafar will serve as team captain. Experienced members of the squad consist of Aaron Johnson and Kaleem Sana. The selection committee, nevertheless, has neglected to include Nikhil Dutta. Tajinder Singh has been designated as a reserve player for the team's journey. Additionally, Aaditya Varadharajan, Ammar Khalid, Jatinder Matharu, and Parveen Kumar have been named as reserves, prepared to assist the team throughout the tournament if required.
