Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir has landed in Delhi after India's famous Champions Trophy 2025 win over New Zealand in Dubai on Sunday.

Team India coach Gautam Gambhir has landed in Delhi following India's Champions Trophy 2025 victory over New Zealand in Dubai on March 9. This is Gambhir's first major ICC title as Team India manager. Pacer Harshit Rana was also seen arriving at the Delhi airport.

Rohit Sharma and Co. defeated Mitchell Santner's New Zealand in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian team beat the Blackcaps by 4 wickets in the summit clash that was played in Dubai. This is India's third Champions Trophy win. Rohit Sharma has now become only the second Indian captain after MS Dhoni to lift the coveted silverware. Rohit Sharma was also felicitated with the 'Player of the Match' award.

Team India went on to win the Champions Trophy undefeated. Rohit Sharma also became the first Indian skipper to win two ICC trophies without a single loss. Back in 2024, Rohit Sharma had guided the Indian team to an undefeated World T20 win. The members of the Indian Cricket Team will now return to their home country, but they will reportedly travel in batches.

Champions En Route India

The IPL starts in less than two weeks from now. The Indian players will join their respective franchises and prepare for the cash-rich league. All the ten franchises have started to prepare for the eighteenth season of the Indian Premier League and they will be shortly joined by the members of the Indian team who won the Champions Trophy.
