Champions Trophy 2025: Team India may have a big problem as their star batter, Virat Kohli, was seen actively fielding in the Champions Trophy semifinal match against Australia. The live broadcast showed the India superstar getting some treatment and having his right arm taped by the team staff. Given that the cricketer has the capacity to turn the game, the injury scare may limit his performance, which could affect India's push to enter the Champions Trophy summit clash.

Team India and Australia will clash with what they have in their arsenal at the Dubai International Stadium in the UAE. With the Champions Trophy summit clash on the line, both sides are aiming for a win in the high-stakes clash. 

The Virat Kohli issue is not the only problem they are dealing with, as pacer Mohammad Shami was also seen having some trouble with his foot. The India bowler, who recently came off a prolonged rehabilitation, was seen getting his foot treated, and the index finger of his left foot was heavily taped. While Shami is bowling in the game, he hasn't been fielding in full length.

Huge Battle Underway As All Is On The Line

All eyes are on the first semifinal of the Champions Trophy as India and Australia lock horns at UAE's Dubai International Stadium. The Indian side would look to avenge the loss, which denied them of an ODI World Cup win at their home. On the other hand, Australia might be injury-ridden, but their grit and tenacity have been some of the premier aspects throughout the marquee ICC tournament.

Unfortunately, Rohit Sharma 's luck with the toss went south as Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. Both sides have opted for spin-heavy line-ups, with Varun Chakaravarthy finding a spot in India's Playing XI while Australia brings Cooper Connolly and Tanveer Sangha.

The winner of the first semifinal will advance into the Champions Trophy summit clash, which will take place on March 09, 2025.
