Champions Trophy 2025: Premier India batter Virat Kohli played an unbeaten 100-run knock against Pakistan in India's previous match of the Champions Trophy 2025, helping the Men in Blue clinch a solid six-wicket victory over their arch-rivals. Kohli had a low-key start in the ongoing ICC tournament, scoring 22 runs against Bangladesh. However, no one could expect the ‘chasemaster’s' resurrecting against Pakistan with a ton.
Rohit Sharma-led Team India already qualified for the Champions Trophy 2025 semifinals after two consecutive wins in the group stage against Bangladesh and Pakistan. In their final group stage match of the Champions Trophy 2025, India will take on New Zealand on March 2 in Dubai.

In the high-voltage match on February 23, Abrar picked one wicket in his 10-over spell and gave 28 runs at an economy rate of 2.80. His celebration after dismissing India opener Shubman Gill went viral.
Virat Kohli To Play 300th ODI
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be playing his 300th ODI match during India's clash against New Zealand on March 2. The 36-year-old has solid numbers against the Black Caps in the 50-over match. He amassed 1645 runs from 31 ODI matches against New Zealand at a strike rate of 58.75. His highest score against the Kiwis in ODIs is 154*.
The right-handed Indian batter has smashed 14085 runs from his 299 ODI matches at a strike rate of 93.41 and an average of 58.20. Kohli is just 4341 runs behind becoming the highest run-getter in the 50-over format in cricket. Only time will tell, how many more matches does Kohli needs to break his idol's record.
