India will take on New Zealand in their last Champions Trophy group stage fixture in Dubai on Sunday. Both teams have secured two wins each and have already qualified for the Champions Trophy semifinal.
There were rumours regarding Rohit Sharma's fitness. The Indian captain appeared to have injured his hamstring against Pakistan and left for the dressing room for a brief period. Mommad Shami, who returned after a long injury layoff, also was missing from the ground.

As quoted by ANI, the Indian wicketkeeper said, "Fitness-wise, I think there's no... I don't know too much, but from whatever I know, I think everything seems pretty okay. There's no real concerns about anyone missing games as far as I know. We'll probably know more in today's training.
"Everyone's been in the gym, everyone's been at training the last time as well. So, yeah, little some concerns, but I don't think it's too much."

India cannot afford to lose any more players due to injury concerns. Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out for the Champions Trophy and Harshit Rana replaced him in the squad.
KL Rahul Names Mohammed Shami As One Of The Difficult Bowlers
Shami has looked in good rhythm since he came back to the fold. The 34-year-old hadn't played for long since the 2023 ODI World Cup final and recently came back in the England series. Rahul also revealed it is Shami who throws a difficult challenge for the wicketkeeper.
“The tough thing against Shami while wicketkeeping is that in every game--funnily somehow--he'll make sure that I'm diving full length. And then he gives me one or two opportunities to be brilliant behind the stumps or look stupid sometimes.
Rohit Sharma and Co. are tipped as one of the favourites for the Champions Trophy title and will be determined to get their hand on the coveted trophy after a gap of 12 years.
