Champions Trophy 2025: Kiwi youngster Rachin Ravindra showcased a stunning performance in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025. The 25-year-old couldn't play in New Zealand's first match of the tournament against Pakistan. Ahead of the final match of the Champions Trophy 2025 between New Zealand and India, Kiwi fans hoped to see a top-notch performance from Ravindra.

Rachin Ravindra Achieves Elusive Feat For New Zealand

Rachin Ravindra's 37-run knock helped him to achieve an elusive feat for New Zealand in the history of Champions Trophy. The 25-year-old became the highest run-scorer for the Kiwis in a single edition of the Champions Trophy for New Zealand.

In the ongoing ICC event, Ravindra scored 263 runs from four matches at a strike rate of 106.48 and an average of 65.75. Previously, Kane Williamson held the feat, when he scored 244 runs in the 2017 edition of the Champions Trophy, and now he stands in the second place. Kiwi wicketkeeper-batter Tom Latham holds the third place on the chart, he scored 205 runs at a strike rate of 87.23 in the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Former New Zealand top-order batter Roger Twose holds fourth place, with his 201-run campaign in the Champions Trophy 2000. Former Kiwi cricketer Martin Guptill scored 191 runs in the CT 2009 and stands in fifth place on the list.

New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner won the toss and decided to bat against Rohit Sharma's India in the final match of the ongoing tournament. During the toss, Santner confirmed that they had made one change in the first eleven; Nathan Smith came in for Matt Henry. On the other hand, the Men in Blue are playing with the same playing eleven.

Rachin Ravindra's Knock Against India In CT 2025 Final

In the summit clash between the two cricket giants, Ravindra played a 37-run knock from 29 balls at a strike rate of 127.59. The youngster hammered 4 fours and 1 six during his time on the crease. The youngster's knock came to an end in the 11th over when Kuldeep Yadav bowled him.
