David Warner's heartwarming gesture: Gifts Australia gear to young fan in unforgettable farewell act

David Warner gifted his Australia helmet and gloves from his final innings to a young fan at the SCG as the star retired from Test cricket.

In the first inning, Pat Cummins' 5/61 was spectacular. Pakistan's second innings total was 115. David Warner gave his helmet and gloves to a young fan after the match 

David Warner made a touching gesture to little fan Brody Quin during his final Test innings at the SCG on December 6. The Australian starter graciously offered the young fan his helmet and gloves.

Warner finished his extraordinary Test career, which spanned 112 matches, with 8,786 runs at an excellent average of 44.60. His remarkable accomplishments include 26 centuries and 37 half-centuries.

David Warner showed his passion in his final Test innings against Pakistan, striking a determined 57 and contributing significantly to Australia's victorious chase in the fourth innings. Although he did not bat the entire innings, Warner's huge contribution was critical in Australia's 3-0 series triumph.

While leaving the pitch, David Warner received a standing ovation from the fans and made a nice gesture by giving his helmet and gloves to little fan Brody Quin. Quin was fortunate to obtain these particular mementos from the outgoing Australian opener, despite competition from other children.

Lucky kid expressed his feelings 

Brody Quin expressed his delight and astonishment upon receiving David Warner's presents, particularly the Australian helmet. Quin, who was overjoyed, joked that he needed to make a speedy exit after receiving the gifts from Warner. He joked that he would require security to follow him to the vehicle, emphasising the exciting and unexpected nature of the encounter. According to WA Today, Quin said:

“I just got up there and got through. The kids were trying to push me but I got it,”

“I knew he was going to give someone the gloves but I didn’t think he’d give me his helmet.”

“I just ran straight away as other kids were trying to grab them,” 

 “I might have to get security to escort me back to the car.”
