CSK goes all out for Daryl Mitchell

Following an exceptional performance in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, Daryl Mitchell coming on the radar of various franchises was a thing of certainty. Moreover, with the ability to win the match with both bat and ball, he was expected to fetch a hefty sum as well. And indeed the Kiwi all-rounder got sold at the exorbitant sum of Rs. 14 crore.

Ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, there were talks regarding how CSK would look to fill the void of Ben Stokes and Ambati Rayudu in the team, and as it has happened at the auction, the Yellow outfit has brought the needed arsenal in the form of Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell.

Daryl Mitchell reacts after being sold to CSK

Upon noticing his IPL harbor i.e., Chennai Super Kings, Daryl Mitchell took to his Instagram to react on the update of joining MS Dhoni at CSK. Mitchell left a video message with the caption "Can't wait to roar in yellove" and in the clip, he could be seen sparing a few words in respect of Dhoni and CSK.

"I'm excited to play under MS Dhoni and learn new things".

Aside from the video post, Mitchell also shared the post of CSK, which declared him as the official member of the team.
