Former India cricket Yuvraj Singh has quashed the reports of entering politics. Through a social media post, Singh has made it known that he is dedicated to making a change through his foundation "YOUWECAN." Earlier, a flow of reports spiraled that he is set to get a BJP ticket from Gurdaspur.

"Contrary to media reports, I'm not contesting elections from Gurdaspur. My passion lies in supporting and helping people in various capacities, and I will continue to do so through my foundation

According to media reports, the World Cup winner would run for Lok Sabha in Gurdaspur on a BJP ticket, replacing actor Sunny Deol, who now holds the seat.

The reports came following Yuvraj Singh's recent meeting with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Yuvraj Singh is a legendary figure in Indian cricket. Yuvraj's career is packed with milestones that demonstrate his cricketing abilities. Notably, his six consecutive sixes in a single over at the 2007 T20 World Cup, as well as his record-breaking T20I fifty in just 12 balls, have cemented his place in cricket history. His important part in India's 2011 ICC World Cup triumph.
