Former India batter hails KL Rahul's mindset as a captain

Former Indian Cricket Team batter Sanjay Manjrekar merits KL Rahul's recent performance as a skipper in the ODI series against South Africa. Manjrekar said that he took smart DRS calls and levelled one of KL's aspects with the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni. While speaking to ESPNcricinfo, the former India batter mentioned:

'These days, when you see KL Rahul on the ground, he looks very relaxed and in a good mind space. He captained as expected. He looks comfortable in the leadership role. He has led a lot in the IPL, in a Test match in South Africa and in one-day matches as well. You can expect KL Rahul not to make any big mistake. He is an expert in DRS. His instinct is equal to MS Dhoni.'

Sai Sudharsan presented with the Impact Fielder medal due to KL Rahul's selfless act

Not only did KL Rahul become the second-only skipper after Virat Kohli to win an ODI series against South Africa, he had a great day as a wicketkeeper on the field. KL made six catches throughout the ODI series, and it was highlighted during the team's dressing room medal ceremony for the Impact Fielder of the Series.

Fielding Coach Ajay Ratra selected KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan as the top competitors, but KL selflessly asked for the reward to go to Sai. A loud cheer was heard as Coach Ratra presented the medal to the debutant.
