Nandre Burger made a breakthrough in the 10th over of the Indian innings, securing his maiden Test wicket by removing Yashasvi Jaiswal, who contributed 17 runs. He then dismissed Shubman Gill for 2 runs in the 12th over.
It's worth noting that both Burger and Jaiswal will be teammates in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Rajasthan Royals (RR) acquired Burger's services, signing him for ₹50 lakh in the recently concluded IPL 2024 mini-auction in Dubai.
