The Indian team continue their home domination with the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh. After winning the toss, Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque decided to bat first on Day 1. The decision backfired as the Indian pacers wreaked havoc and skittled the visitors for just 150 inside 59 overs. Left with 26 overs to face in the day, the hosts lost opener Rohit Sharma for just 6 as he edged one out to keeper Liton Das off Abu Jayed. Number 3 batsman Cheteshwar Pujara then joined forces with Mayank Agarwal to see out the day without further damage. The two batsmen safely negotiated the remaining overs as team India ended Day 1 at 86-1.
