IND vs NZ: Rohit Sharma 's Team India have created history in the Dubai International Stadium. India defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets in the Dubai International Stadium. India have now won the Champions Trophy for the second time. The first time, the 'Men in Blue' lifted the coveted trophy was back in 2013 in the leadership of MS Dhoni . Rohit Sharma has also become only the second Indian captain after MS to lift the Champions Trophy.
India were always touted as favourites to win the Champions Trophy and they have delivered. Rohit Sharma has now cemented his place as of the greatest captains of the game by winning two consecutive ICC Trophies. The Indian Team has always been dominant in the white-ball format and their second Champions Trophy victory is a testament to it.

PM Modi Congratulates Team India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) and congratulated the Indian cricket team on their second Champions Trophy win. 'An exceptional game and an exceptional result! Proud of our cricket team for bringing home the ICC Champions Trophy. They’ve played wonderfully through the tournament. Congratulations to our team for the splendid all around display', wrote PM Modi.

It was an absolute fistfight from both the teams. India and New Zealand toiled hard to win the final in what eventually turned out to be a classical ODI game. The Indian team has won the Champions Trophy undefeated.
List Of Records Registered By Rohit Sharma The Captain
The 'Hitman' has scripted some all-time career records courtesy of Team India's iconic Champions Trophy victory. Rohit is now only the second Indian skipper to win an ICC Champions Trophy after MS Dhoni. Rohit is also the first and the only Indian skipper at this point in time to two ICC Trophies undefeated. Rohit was also felicitated with the player of the match award.
