IND vs SA: Extremely rare instance occurs on field, you would have to see it to believe it

The incident occurred on Day 2 during South Africa's second innings when Mohammed Siraj was bowling to Aiden Markram.

IND vs SA: India and South Africa are currently locking horns against each other in the second Test of their two-match series in Cape Town. The first day of the match saw a total of 23 wickets fall - 13 from the South African camp and 10 from the Indian camp. South Africa resumed their second innings batting on Day 2 at a score of 62/3 with Aiden Markram and David Bedingham on strike.

IND vs SA: Rare moment occurs on the field

In an extremely rare instance, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was involved in a misfield during the second Test match between India and South Africa. The incident occurred on Day 2 during South Africa's second innings when Mohammed Siraj was bowling to Aiden Markram. 

Markram cut away a delivery to the third man, where Jadeja sprints and puts in a dive to save the boundary. However, Jadeja accidentally pushed the ball across the boundary pads in an attempt to scoop it back. The moment was captured on video camera.

Note, that Jadeja did not play the first Test match against South Africa due to injury concerns. He was ruled out because of a back spasm. Ashwin played in place of Jadeja in the opening Test. 

As far as the match is concerned, India bowled beatifully on Day 2 with Jasprit Bumrah taking a five-wicket haul. However, Aiden Markram struck back with a classy century following a dropped catch from KL Rahul that gave him a second chance.
