New Zealand Women have scored 160/4 in 20 overs in the first innings of their match against India. 

India struck two wickets in quick succession. First, Arundhati removed Suzie Bates at 27 and then Asha got the wicket of other opener Plimmer. She departed at the score of 34. New Zealand 72-2 after 10 overs.

New Zealand Women have scored 55 runs in the first powerplay. There was one catch dropped by wicket-keeper Richa Ghosh.

New Zealand Women have won the toss and elected to bat first against India Women in their opening match of the T20 World Cup 2024. 

South Africa proved to be too strong for West Indies as they romped to a 10-wicket win to begin their campaign in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup on a rousing note on Friday.

India won their two warm-up games with fairly convincing margins, by 20 runs against West Indies and 28 runs against South Africa. 

The Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will be live broadcast in India on Star Sports TV channels and will be live streamed on the Disney+Hotstar app and website.

The India Women vs New Zealand Women T20 World Cup match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST on Friday, October 4. The match will be held at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
