This time names of 590 players will be called out at the auction, and once again it will be intriguing to see who becomes the record signing. On November 26, 2023, all the 10 franchises gave an outlook of their team for the upcoming IPL 2024 season. Following the culmination of the process, Royal Challengers Bangalore have emerged as the side with the highest remaining purse. A total of 40.75 crore is in RCB's account, and it is anybody's guess who they will go after this auction. After RCB, it is SRH, who have a significant sum left. The anomaly with other teams is not much as they also have an adequate amount to splurge.

As per numbers highlighted on IPL's X handle more than 737 crores have already been spent and with a certain amount still left with all the teams, the already massive figure will undergo a heavy augmentation.
