Lucknow Super Giants' owner Sanjiv Goenka's humble gesture towards Shardul Thakur is winning hearts as the franchise secured a monumental win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Thakur pulled off a sensation bowling spell which rattled the opposition's top order and secured a total of four wickets in the game. Shardul scalped two consecutive wickets to dismiss Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The SRH opener was sent packing after just six runs, while Kishan was dismissed for a golden duck.
LSG rallied over Hyderabad at Uppal, with batters Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh doing the heavy work to pull off a win. Sunrisers Hyderabad came under intense pressure while Lucknow saw the edge to gain their first win of the season. Dr. Sanjiv Goenka had nothing but praise for Shardul, and his expression towards the all-rounder is heartwarming.

Lucknow's win over Hyderabad eases off the pressure from Rishabh Pant's shoulders. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter was under the radar after failing to make any impact upon his debut with the Super Giants. The loss to the Capitals was even tougher, as LSG had almost secured the win until Ashutosh Sharma powered DC through.
