ICC Champions Trophy 2025: India captain Rohit Sharma has been in sublime form as a leader. He has ably led his side to four consecutive wins in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 and now the team finds itself in the summit clash. Despite Rohit's good work, he recently faced criticism from Congress spokesperson Shama Mohamed.
The Congress leader labelled Rohit as fat and claimed that he is not a good captain. While her remarks brought her a lot of flak, yet she kept on defending herself. Now, former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh has slammed her. Harbhajan asks ‘is she in the BCCI’? The legendary former off-spinner also asks for her credentials in sports.
‘What are her own achievements?'
“Well, there will be people who’ll keep on talking about his fitness, captaincy skills. But I just asked a very simple question to that lady who made this remark about Rohit Sharma’s fitness, whether she’s a part of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) or any other organization where she understands the rule and also the fitness. What are her own achievements when it comes to sports?" Harbhajan told a media outlet.

"So, putting a finger towards anyone is very easy but at the same time, the thumb is facing towards you, so just check yourself too,” he further said.

CT 2025 FINAL
In a little over 24 hours, Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, would take on New Zealand in the summit clash in Dubai. It promises to be nothing short of a humdinger in Dubai on March 9. The Men in Blue start slight favourites as they beat the Blackcaps in the group stage. But again, nothing can be guaranteed as it will be a new day and a new game.
