Jay Shah's current role as the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is classified as ‘honorary.’ This means that Shah, similar to key officials within the BCCI, including the President, Vice President, and Treasurer, does not receive a traditional fixed salary.

Similarly, Jay Shah will not earn a fixed salary from the ICC. His compensation is structured around various allowances and facilities provided to support his official duties. These could include travel expenses, accommodations, and other necessary costs incurred while performing his responsibilities as Chairman. However, the exact details of these allowances have not been publicly disclosed by the ICC.
