India vs New Zealand. After rain washed away day one of the Chinnaswamy Test, play started on the second day after Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. It was a forgetful start by the hosts as they were shot out for a paltry 46 runs. It was disaster for the Indian team as five batters were dismissed without a run. Matt Henry was the pick of the bowlers as he ended with figures of five for 15. Former England captain Michael Vaughan roasted the Indian cricket team following their forgetful collapse against New Zealand in the first Test at Chinnaswamy.

"Look on the bright side Indian fans .. at least you have got past 36 .." Vaughan's tweet read.

Meanwhile, the score of 46 is the lowest in Asia in a Test match. India's 46 has now surpassed 53 runs by West Indies against Pakistan at Faisalabad in 1986 and 53 runs by Pakistan against Australia at Sharjah in 2002.

The Indian team will now look to bounce back with the ball and they can actually do that as the surface does not seem to have changed a lot. The first spell from the Indian pacers would be important. At the time of filing the copy, NZ were 10 for no loss with Tom Latham and Devon Conway in the middle.
