Mohammed Siraj reporting to duty; India cricketer assumes charge as DSP in Telangana

Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj has officially taken up his new role as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana. He reported to the Director General of Police (DGP) on Friday to accept the position, which was offered to him by the state government in recognition of his outstanding performance in international cricket. This appointment is a significant honor for Siraj, who has brought laurels to the country and made Telangana proud. 

Mohammed Siraj has had a distinguished career representing India in various prestigious tournaments. His notable achievements include participating in the World Test Championship and the Cricket World Cup finals. Most recently, he was part of the triumphant Indian squad that won the T20 World Cup after a remarkable 13-year wait.
