Shaheen Afridi Should go And Play First-Class Cricket: Former Pakistan Cricketer SLAMS Premier Pacer
Following Pakistan's humiliating loss in the opening Test against Bangladesh, former cricketer Basit Ali reckons Shaheen Afridi should be dropped.
Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi has been leading the attack over the past three seasons. He has truly emerged as Pakistan's main bowler, but even he had an off Test in Rawalpindi against Bangladesh and that is the reason why critics are asking his removal from the side. Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali reckons Afridi, who picked up two wickets in the Rawalpindi Test, should go and play first-class cricket. His two wickets came at the back end of the Bangladeshi first essay, which means, he was not as effective with the red new cherry as he is expected to be.
Here is What Basit Ali Said…
"Shaheen Afridi should be rested 100 per cent. He should go and play first-class cricket. He should be rested. Ali S put in a lot of effort. Pakistan failed in bowling, fielding and batting. They beat us in all departments. It is wrong to say that the team had a bad day," Basit said on his YouTube channel.

Pakistan's Losing Streak Continues
This is Bangladesh's first-ever win over Pakistan in Tests. While it is a day to cherish for Bangladesh, for the Pakistan team, it's the complete opposite. The loss has extended Pakistan's losing streak to 1294 days. They haven't won a Test at home in the aforementioned period. What comes as further bad news for Pakistan is their updated position on the World Test Championship standings.
