Days after the debacle, things are now coming out of the closet. As per Cricket Pakistan, captain Mohammed Rizwan told players that the selectors and the coaches would lose their jobs when the team huddled after the loss to India. The same report claims that a Pakistan player, who was part of the side, has made this revelation.

‘Rizwan told them not to be disappointed’

“One of the selectors told the participants that after the loss to India, when the players gathered on the field, Captain Mohammad Rizwan told them not to be disappointed, saying that losing and winning is part of the game, and that the players would not be affected, but it would be the coaches and selectors who would lose their jobs. This statement did not sit well with the authorities,” the report read.

As per reports, the final that would be played between India and New Zealand will happen in the same strip that was used for the game against Pakistan.
