Phil Salt's rapid rise in international cricket

Phil Salt's outstanding scores of 119 and 38 in Trinidad propelled him up by 18 places, reaching a career-best rating of 802. This places him 15 rating points ahead of Mohammad Rizwan from Pakistan, who currently occupies the third position in the ICC rankings. Despite this impressive climb, there remains a considerable gap between Phil Salt and Suryakumar Yadav, who comfortably holds the top position with a rating of 887.
