Rishabh Pant TROLLS Rohit Sharma After India Captain Doesn't Take DRS vs Bangladesh | WATCH

Ind vs Ban: Ravichandran Ashwin could have ended up with seven wickets only if India skipper Rohit Sharma would have taken the DRS. Replays showed that the batter would have to walk back to the dressing-room had Rohit opted for the DRS in Chepauk on Day four. The incident took place in the final innings at Chepauk on Sunday when Ashwin was bowling his 21st over. Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud looked to cut the ball that was short but was hit halfway into the shot by the quick turn and bounce. Roishabh Pant took the catch and appealed, but the umpire did not raise his finger. Pant then looked at Rohit and tried to convince him but to no avail. The TV replay showed that the ball had brushed Mahmud's glove on the way to Pant. Pant said, “Out that yaar… dekh to lo replay (Look at the replay, it was out).”

AS IT HAPPENED
Earlier, veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin 's mastery over his craft, underlined by a six-wicket haul, proved too immense for Bangladesh as India cantered to a massive win with five sessions to spare.
Maintaining a clean slate against the Asian neighbours, India now lead the two-match series 1-0.
Starting from their overnight 158 for four, Bangladesh were bundled out for 234 in their second innings as Ashwin scythed through their line-up (6/88).
Ravindra Jadeja supported him with a three-wicket haul (3/58).
Skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto waged a lone battle for the visitors with a sparkling 82 (127b, 8x4, 3x6), but there was hardly any meaningful support for him from his colleagues.
The day, however, began on a bright note for the Bangladeshis with Shanto and Shakib Al-Hasan (25) extending their fifth-wicket stand to 48 runs, resisting the Indian bowlers in the first hour.
