Promising all-rounder Riyan Parag lit up the opening day of the ongoing Duleep Trophy clash between India A and India D with a breathtaking display of power-hitting. Known for his aggressive stroke play, Parag emulated his idol, Virat Kohli , by smashing a stunning six over cover that had fans buzzing with excitement. 

The match got off to a rocky start for India A, who found themselves in trouble after India D captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first. India A skipper Mayank Agarwal was dismissed cheaply by Vidhwath Kaverappa, who also removed Pratham Singh after a few overs.

The effortless stroke drew immediate comparisons to Virat Kohli , who is known for his ability to play similar shots.
