Following the end of his glorious reign as the captain of Mumbai Indians, different IPL franchises came forward and used social media medium to express tribute to the leadership of Rohit Sharma. Among the teams, Mumbai Indians' most formidable rival Chennai Super Kings also posted a message in respect of the end of an era at MI. The CSK post got noticed by Rohit Sharma's wife and sequentially she reacted to it with a "yellow heart" emoji.

The reaction has sparked assertions regarding Rohit Sharma's possible switch to Chennai Super Kings.

Ahead of Ritika Sajdeh's reaction, Mumbai Indians' star batsman Suryakumar Yadav also shared a similar sort of reaction. SKY delivered an Instagram story to showcase his thoughts on the announcement. In the story, Surya displays a huge representation of a "broken heart".


While the news has infuriated some of the fans of Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya will lead Mumbai in IPL 2024, and until the action starts, it will be anybody's guess regarding how the decision will pan out for Mumbai Indians.
