Aiden Markram bowled the ninth over of the innings, in which Hardik Pandya hit a giant six off the fourth ball and took his tally of sixes in IPL to 100.


Hardik Pandya hits Umran Malik for two boundaries after getting hit on the head; Wade dismissed

Umran Malik started his spell by bowling the eighth over and started with a fierce bouncer which hit Hardik's helmet. However, Hardik displayed his class by sending the next two deliveries for beautiful boundaries. However, Umran had the last laugh as Matthew Wade was declared lbw out in the final ball of the over. Umran bowled the final delivery at 149kmph.

Washington Sundar bowled a tidy over bowling the seventh of the innings as he gave away just four runs in form of singles.


Gujarat reduced to 42/2 as Natarajan dismisses B Sai Sudharsan

B Sai Sudharsan scored 11 individual runs during his outing, before getting dismissed by pacer T Natarajan as skipper Williamson completed the catch at mid-off. GT skipper Hardik Pandya hit a four in the last ball of the 6th over to get off the mark. GT stand at 51/2 after six overs.

GT managed to score only six runs from the 5th over of the first innings, which was bowled at tidy lengths by Marco Jansen.

SRH skipper Kane Williamson brought in Washington Sundar to bowl the fourth over. Wade hit a four in the fourth delivery through a reverse sweep as GT ended the over at 36/1.
