Australian opener David Warner and his former teammate Mitchell Johnson were involved in an ugly war of words before the start of the Test series against Pakistan. In his column, Johnson questioned Warner's retirement plan and his place in the Australian Test side, calling him a “walking wicket.” David Warner initially laughed off Johnson’s criticism and said everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Warner has now responded to Mitchell Johnson's criticism in his own way by smashing a century against Pakistan in the first Test match in Perth. After reaching the three-digit mark, Warner jumped in the air in his signature style to celebrate his 26th Test ton before signaling a shush presumably to Johnson, who was sitting in the commentary box at the Perth Stadium.

There’s no better way to silence them than putting runs on the board,” Warner said in his interview after blasting a century against the visiting Pakistan team.
