'Tough times don't last, tough people do': Ambani Family Sings Praise for Team India's T20WC Heroes

Team India returned to the country with a lot of cheers and celebration as the entire Mumbai came out to the streets to celebrate the historic win. Team India initially landed in Delhi and the fans gathered in masses to congratulate the team. After meeting the Prime Minister, the squad jetted off to Mumbai for the other half of the celebration. Stars like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya received special praise from the fans. The felicitation and acknowledgement continued after the grand celebration in Wankhede, as the Ambani Family revered some of the team's players.

Ambanis acknowledge World Champions Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya & SKY at Jio World Convention Centre

During the Sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani called up some of the Team India players who recently became the World Champions in Kingstown, Barbados, Players like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya were invited by the Ambanis for the festivities. Nita Ambani brought up all the players, and he also called up Hardik Pandya on the stage with a special note.

While calling up the all-rounder on the stage, Mrs Ambani said 'Tough times don't last, tough people do,' as she welcomed Pandya. The Mumbai Indians also shared a special video for them on the social media platform X (Formerly Twitter). The Ambanis also had a special message for the players and congratulated them for their grand T20 World Cup Final win. As the song "Lehra Do" reverberated throughout the conference centre, all of the attendees stood up to thank the players, and a spirit of patriotism permeated the entire auditorium.

Apart from Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, Indian cricketers like Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan were also seen together at the venue. Even the Indian Cricket icon, MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi were present at the festivities.

The World Cup victory would be special for Hardik Pandya since he returned like a hero, lifting the prized silverware aloft as he exited Mumbai International Airport. He also seized the championship during the parade, and the fans at Wankhede greeted him with screams and ovation, recognising his greatness. It's a full-circle moment for the all-rounder, who began as a villain and returned as a brave warrior.
