NZ vs Pak: Ever since Pakistan faced an embarrassing exit in the Champions Trophy 2025, the entire team has been facing the heat. And that doesn't seem to stop anywhere. Now, the Men in Green have lost two consecutive T20I games against New Zealand. While the world is bashing the Men in Green, cricketer Haris Rauf attended the press conference after the loss at Dunedin.

‘Wait for Pakistan team to lose’

"Some people just sit and wait for Pakistan team to lose so that they can be talked about in some way and I think they have their own opinion, they can give it". He added, "The way we are a trying to build our team, as a senior, we all motivate our juniors, tell them what kind of cricket is this, what are your requirements in international cricket, they will have to play cricket in that way," Rauf said at the PC. 

"I have been hearing for the last 20 years that there is a lot of talent; there is none. Had it been there, we would have seen it in the last 10 years," he added.

Meanwhile, the Men in Green are already trailing 0-2 in the ongoing five-match series. They would need to bounce back to winning ways in the third game to keep the series alive. 

The Salman Agha-led side would be extremely low in confidence and they would desperately be looking for inspiration from somewhere. The third T20I would be played on March 21 at Eden Park. That would give Pakistan time to reboot. Can they turn it around and start winning games? It will certainly not be easy against a formidable NZ side.
