Afghanistan decimate Sri Lanka in Pune
The Afghanistan cricket while bowling first wrapped up Sri Lanka for a score of 241 runs and it was pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi who was adjudged the Player of the Match and ended the match with figures of 4/34. Chasing the target the Afghani team suffered an early blow as they lost Rahmanullah Gurbaz for a duck. However, the team was able to come out of the early damage courtesy of Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi who played knocks of 62 and 58* runs respectively. The Afghani team will be facing the Netherlands in its next match at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on November 3.
