The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is underway, and Tuesday, October 10, 2023, witnessed some big clashes between the England Cricket Team vs Bangladesh Cricket Team and Sri Lanka vs Pakistan. The defending champions, England, bounced back from their loss to New Zealand in the opening match. On the other hand, the Asia Cup 2023 runners-up, Sri Lanka faced another setback against Pakistan.

ODI World Cup 2023: Matches on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 

On Tuesday, England beat Bangladesh after BAN won the toss and decided to bowl, and England managed to score 364 at a loss of 9 wickets during their innings. BAN failed to prevail in the match and was all-out at 227 in 48.2 overs, which meant England won the match by 137 runs in HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala.

In another fixture, Sri Lanka faced Pakistan at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium 2023. Sri Lanka won the toss, decided to bowl, and managed to score 344 at a loss of 9 wickets during their innings. However, they failed to restrict PAK from chasing, as they won the match by 6 wickets.

ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Updated World Cup Points Table 

Based on the number of matches played, wins, losses, and relative net run rates, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 points table offers a glimpse of the teams' results. Pakistan and New Zealand each have four points after winning both of their games. In their lone matches, South Africa and India have both triumphed, earning two points apiece. Australia, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the Netherlands are yet to win a match in the tournament, earning them 0 points, while England and Bangladesh have each won one match and have two points. Each team has a different net run rate, with South Africa having the highest net run rate (+2.040) and the Netherlands having the lowest net run rate (-1.800).
