Everyone is jubilant as Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, achieved a historic victory at the Kensington Oval over South Africa, who was previously in control. The guys in blue managed to steal the victory from the Aiden Markram-led team, despite their best efforts to hold onto it. This ended their nearly ten-year title drought. For Hardik Pandya, who made his comeback to the Indian team at the T20 World Cup, it was a pivotal moment. Throughout the IPL season, he was the centre of attention, but when he returned for national duty, he successfully moved past it all. Following the match, Pandya responds appropriately to all his naysayers.

Hardik Pandya gives an ultimate response to his critics after World Cup sweep

Hardik Pandya was able to effectively hush all his critics who raged back in the IPL 2024 season. His overall display in the T20 World Cup was enough to prove that the all-rounder can deliver in crunch situations and is an absolute clutch player. After a great T20 World Cup campaign, Pandya responds to all of his detractors, saying he has no problem with individuals who, albeit not knowing him at all, have spoken highly of him during his lacklustre IPL season.

"I believe in grace. A lot was said by people who don't know even know me one per cent as a person. People have spoken, no issues but I have always believed in life that you never respond with words, circumstances can respond.

"Even difficult times, they don't last forever. It is important to be graceful, whether you win or lose. It is time for fans and everyone else to learn that [to be graceful]. We need to find better ways to conduct yourself. I am sure the same people will be happy," Hardik Pandya said.

It was a momentous moment for Team India when the team led by Rohit Sharma successfully won the T20 World Cup, reviving the team's reputation. They were able to remain unbeaten throughout the competition and ultimately win it all, demonstrating their absolute domination.

A mellow update also surfaced, as the two greatest cricketers in India, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, said that the T20 World Cup final would be their final match as members of the national team and that they would be retiring from the T20I format. It's the end of an era for Indian cricket, even if both of them will continue to play in ODIs and Tests.
