Sachin Tendulkar wishes Team India luck ahead of their clash against Pakistan in the T20 WC

India's 2024 T20 World Cup match against Pakistan is set for Sunday, June 9, at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Sachin Tendulkar has sent his best wishes. In thinking back on his 1992 World Cup match against Pakistan, Tendulkar said that the rivalry has only gotten stronger over time. He said he was sure both teams would play their hardest in this important ICC competition.

India and Pakistan will square off for the seventh time in the T20 World Cup with this game. India has won their head-to-head matches 5:1 in the past. A bowl-out memorably broke a stalemate in one 2007 match. India retaliated after their 10-wicket setback to Pakistan in the 2022 edition by defeating them by four wickets under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.
