Rohit Sharma highlights on Team India's comeback after batting collapse vs PAK

Despite a heroic effort by Rishabh under fuzzy skies, the Rohit Sharma-led team fell in the middle innings on a two-paced surface, all out for 119 in 19 overs. With eight wickets remaining and 48 runs to be made in as many deliveries, Pakistan—a team that can play both brilliant and ridiculous cricket—looked to be in control of the match. They began their batting innings rather dominantly, but the Indian bowling attack quickly brought them to their knees. With great effort, the side led by Rohit Sharma overcame the Men in Green and dominated the second innings.

"We didn't bat well enough. I thought halfway through, after 10 overs, we were in a good position, you expect guys to stitch partnerships. We were 15-20 runs short, and every run matters. We were looking at 140, but nevertheless, the bowlers did the job. It was a good wicket compared to the one we played on here [against Ireland]. There's that never-say-die attitude in the team. Only 119 on the board, and we wanted to make early inroads which we didn't.

"With a bowling line-up like that you feel confident to do the job. Halfway through the stage when they were batting, we got everyone together and said that if it can happen to us, it can happen to them. The little contributions from everyone makes the difference. Whoever has the ball wants to make the difference," Rohit said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
