India skipper Rohit Sharma showcased his displeasure over the media's queries while also venting his frustration over the pitch invaders disrupting matches.

Team India will open their ICC Men's T20 World Cup today against Ireland, a side against whom they have remained undefeated. A lot of attention will remain on the Indian Cricket Team, led by Rohit Sharma. Ahead of the match, the Indian skipper was seen responding to the media's queries. However, there was a moment when one of the reporter's questions, which was regarding the pitch invaders, seemingly left him irate. Rohit also vented his anger and frustration over the fans who have invaded or aim to invade the pitch during the T20 World Cup in the United States and the Caribbean Islands.

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, during the pre-match media scrum, was asked by a reporter regarding his emotions when a pitch invader was being restrained by security during the IND vs BAN warm-ups. But Rohit looked upset as he cleared the air by saying that such instances should not be promoted by anyone.
"See, first of all, I would say that no one should intrude into the ground. This is not right. And this question was also not right, because we don't want to promote this thing that who is running and coming to the ground.

"I think, players' security is important, similarly, the security of the people outside is also important. We are playing cricket, yes, but the people sitting outside, it is important for them to understand that there are rules and regulations for every country. It is very important to follow them and understand them. So, that's all I can say. Now, what more can I say?" said Rohit Sharma

Rohit went on to say that the rules varied between India and the United States. He encourages the fans to learn about the regulations, what is and is not allowed, and to attend the match. The Indian captain did not see the necessity to run to the ground and all that.
