Jasprit Bumrah drops a sitter
Indian players were left utterly stunned when Jasprit Bumrah missed what appeared to be a straightforward catch from Daryl Mitchell during the 33rd over of the match. Bumrah covered a significant distance to reach the ball, and it seemed like he had secured the catch safely. However, to the dismay of Team India, the catch slipped through Bumrah's grasp and went for a four, rubbing salt in their wounds. The entire team was in disbelief at what had happened in the deep.
At that point, Mitchell was batting at 71, and the missed catch was a significant let-off. He continued his strong performance and went on to achieve his fifth century in One-Day International cricket. Team India had their share of fielding lapses, with a total of three catches going amiss during the match so far.

India's off day at the field
Ravindra Jadeja dropped a simple opportunity to dismiss Rachin Ravindra early in the innings. Rachin went on to score 75 off 87 balls. Following Jadeja, KL Rahul also missed a catching chance to remove Mitchell in the 30th over. Jasprit Bumrah's error marked the third dropped catch of India's innings.
