Legend Shane Warne's old tweet on ODI World Cup Final star Travis Head resurfaces

Australian team received a Travis Head special in the CWC 2023 final against India as he helped Australia win the sixth ODI World Cup title with a hundred.

Australian batter Travis Head was the star of the IND vs AUS CWC 2023 final as he scored a match-winning 137 runs and took the game away from the Indian team. The ‘Men in Blue’ were defending 241 runs against the Pat Cummins-led side but were not able to do so and Australia won their sixth ODI World Cup title.

Shane Warne's tweet resurfaces as Travis Head becomes Player of the Match in the CWC 2023 final 

Australian legend and late leg spinner Shane Warne had tweeted about Australian batter Travis Head back in the year 2016 and predicted that he would shine for Australia in the near future. As Travis Head scored a ton in the ODI World Cup final against India and was adjudged the Player of the Match, Shane Warne's tweet is once again resurfacing the social media. Travis Head shines in debut ODI World Cup 

Travis Head missed the first few matches of the 2023 ODI World Cup for Australia due to a hand injury but came back with a bang and slammed a ton against New Zealand in his debut ODI World Cup match. The Australian batter also achieved a half-century during the semi-final game against South Africa and helped his team reach the finals of the tournament.

The Australian opener set the tone of the match from the first ball of the innings in the final and helped the team take the lead in the match.
