On May 10, Namibia unveiled their 15-individual team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The West Indies and the USA are co-host for the esteemed competition, which is under-way.

Star all-around player Gerhard Erasmus has been named by the selection committee as Namibia's captain for the competition. Shawn Fouche, a rising prospect, and Pikky Ya France, however, are not included in the team.

All-rounder Nicol Loftie-Eaton, who made news lately for becoming the quickest T20I century scorer in just 33 balls against Nepal in February 2024, was an unexpected player to be left out. ESPNcricinfo claims that Loftie-Eaton was left off the roster because of disciplinary concerns.

Namibia's fast bowling squad consists of Jack Brassell, Dylan Leicher, and left-arm seamer Ruben Trumpelmann.

Namibia, under the leadership of Gerhard Erasmus, is grouped with Australia, Oman, Scotland, and England, the reigning champions.

On June 3, they won their first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Oman. On June 6, they will play Scotland. Their next two group matches are set for June 11 against Australia and June 15 against England.
