ENG vs NED: England on Wednesday defeated the Netherlands to register their second victory of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. The defending champions were at the bottom of the points table with just 2 points in seven games prior to playing against the Dutch. However, the Jos Buttler-led side produced a great show in their penultimate game of the tournament, winning by a margin of 160 runs. Ben Stokes scored a brilliant century and was named the player of the match.

England, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands have been eliminated and placed seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth respectively on the points table.
