In the final league stage clash of the ODI World Cup 2023, India are set to take on the spirited Netherlands side. The battleground for this encounter is the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where the focus once again turns to the home team. India, the sole unbeaten team in the tournament, are eyeing their ninth consecutive victory, aiming to establish their best-ever win streak in the competition's history.

India's Predicted XI vs Netherlands

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Team India has already equaled the impressive 8-match win streak set by Sourav Ganguly's side in 2003. A potential 9th win in this encounter would carve a special place for Rohit Sharma's team in the history books of the ODI World Cup.

The experienced trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma has been integral to India's success, featuring in all matches of the tournament. The looming question is whether they will be given a rest before the crucial semi-final clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai against New Zealand.

Addressing the media in the pre-match press conference, India's head coach Rahul Dravid acknowledged the 6-day rest period leading up to this game. However, he indicated that it is unlikely for the team to alter its winning combination, emphasizing the importance of continuity and stability as they approach the business end of the tournament.

It appears that India will field the same playing XI as their previous match. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open the batting with Virat Kohli coming in at number three. Shreyas Iyer will come at the number four position, followed by wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will come at the seventh spot, while bowlers Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj will round up the rest of the lineup.
