'Kisi Sikh ko nahi dena chahiye': Pakistan cricketers make disgusting-vile remarks on Arshdeep Singh

During a watch-along session of the India vs Pakistan IT20 World Cup game, a former Pakistan player hurled a racist comment on Arshdeep Singh.

Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal passed a distasteful comment on India cricketer Arshdeep Singh, during a live show while watching the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 match. Akmal, who is rendering his expert views for a Pakistan news channel, was seen talking about the chances of Pakistan when 18 runs were needed in the final over. Akmal mentioned, Arshdeep Singh is going to bowl the final over and could go for runs. The reason he endeavored is drawing condemnation from different corners of the world.

IND vs PAK: Disgusting comment passed on Arshdeep Singh during India vs Pakistan watch-along

Kamran Akmal said Arshdeep Singh is not in the best of rhythm but could hit his spots as well. He then channeled mockery in the name of satire. "Baara baj gaye hain." The expert who was sitting beside him made it even worse by bringing religion into the conversation. He said "Kisi Sikh ko nahi dena chahiye baara baje." All this was recorded live, and the clip where this derogatory remark was hurled is making rounds on social media.

The repugnant comment by Kamran Akmal is drawing flak all over social media. "Shame on him , how could he say something like that," a user wrote after witnessing the video. "Absolutely Disgusting," another one wrote.

T20 World Cup: India beat Pakistan by 6 runs

While Kamran Akmal doubted Arshdeep Singh's skill, the Indian rose to the occasion and was instrumental in giving Pakistan a striking loss of 6 runs. India batted first in the match and though they got bundled out at a meagre total of 119 runs, it proved to be enough at the Nassau County track. Pakistan could not go beyond the 113-run mark and were left to introspect about another cracking loss endured against India in the T20 World Cup. The win has given India a 6-1 lead over Pakistan in the head-to-head department of T20 World Cups. Overall, India are 15-1 up over arch-rivals Pakistan in World Cups.
