Ravindra Jadeja lifts Rahul Dravid in the air during best fielder medal ceremony after IND beat AFG

After all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja received the Best Fielder medal, he was so ecstatic that he lifted the team coach Rahul Dravid in the air.

Team India has opened their Super 8 campaign with a grand win over Afghanistan as they mark their dominance in the Caribbean Islands. After remaining undefeated in a two-paced track in New York, the Rohit Sharma-led side has been nothing less than conquerors and emerged as a leading choice to win the ICC T20 title. The Indian side will be jubilant with the win, and the BTS footage of the team dressing room shows just that. The squad hosted the fan-favourite best fielder medal ceremony, and there was a moment when Ravindra Jadeja was so happy that he lifted the Team India coach in the air.

Ravindra Jadeja receives Best Fielder medal from Rahul Dravid, then Jaddu lifts coach in the air  

After Team India defeated Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup Super 8s at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, bowling coach T Dilip hosted the all-time favourite Best Fielder Ceremony at the team dressing room as he nominated players like Ravindra Jadeja, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Rishabh Pant. The medal presenter was none other than Rahul Dravid, who handed it to Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder got so happy that he lifted the Indian coach into the air and they also shared a hug after that.

Ravindra Jadeja highlighted the importance of the medal and what an honour it was to receive it. Jadeja is a solid fielder, and his sharp instincts and blazing-fast awareness have helped the Team several times in taking a crucial wicket. The reward allows the squad to work harder on the field to get their hands on the award.

Regarding the match, Team India put up a rigorous overall performance as they went guns blazing from all the sides. While Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya put their effort with the bat, the bowling attack, led by Jasprit Bumrah, was in full effect. Wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav scalped two wickets while Arshdeep took three, Jadeja and Axar also took scalps apiece as they bowled out Afghanistan at 134. India won the Super 8s clash with a 47-run margin, and it will be a mega boost for the side as they continue in the super-important campaign.
