If Virat Kohli scores a half century against England he will equal Babar Azam's record. Currently Babar Azam leads the chart for the player to have scored the most half centuries in T20 Internationals with 39.

Virat Kohli is a close second with 38 half centuries  and a half century tonight would mean he will be tied with Babar Azam.

England vary of Virat Kohli form

Despite Virat Kohli's lack of form, England coach Matthew Mort has said that his side are vary of the threat posed by England and will be ready to tackle his challenge.

“Virat has proven his class over a very long period of time and he is one of the players we've prepared well for. We know how he can play; we know how destructive he can be and we also know his game smarts. If the game demands an innings of a different nature, he's got that skill,” said Matthew Mort.
